Web Consulting.
Straight Answers.
27 years of hands-on web experience. I also run a web design and hosting business — so I know this industry from the inside. And that's exactly why my advice is useful.
I'm upfront about what I offer. And when a competitor, a different platform, or a different approach fits you better, I'll tell you that too — because a client who gets the right advice trusts me for life.

Web Consultant & Practitioner
27 years experience · Web Design & Hosting Business Owner
Full disclosure: I own a web design and hosting business. You'll always know when something I suggest is also something I offer. What I won't do is steer you toward my services when they're not the right fit.
I build what I recommend
When I talk about what a website should cost, or what a hosting plan actually delivers, I know — because I price and deliver these things every week. You get advice from someone who lives it, not just studies it.
Transparent, not "neutral"
Claiming to have no skin in the game is easy. What's harder — and more useful — is being honest about your position and still putting the client first. That's what I do. You always know where I stand.
The right answer, even if it's not me
If Shopify beats a custom build for your use case, I'll say so. If a local competitor would serve you better, I'll say that too. My reputation is worth more than one sale. Long-term trust is the business model.
Sound familiar?
These are the situations where an experienced second opinion makes the biggest difference.
I paid an agency $8,000 for a website and later found out I could have gotten the same result for $2,000.
Everyone tells me I need an ecommerce store, but I don't know if it's realistic for my business or just an expensive idea.
My web developer keeps suggesting features I don't understand. I don't know if they're genuinely useful or just padding the invoice.
I want to launch an online business but I don't know where to start, what platform to pick, what it will actually cost, or where the risks are.
What we can cover in a consulting session
Any question about your business's digital presence. Nothing is off the table.
What kind of website do I need?
Presentation site, landing page, ecommerce, catalog, blog — which option is right for your business and why. What it should realistically cost, whether you build with me or someone else.
Should I build an online store?
Honest analysis: realistic costs, traffic needed, competition, margins, right platforms. I'll tell you the truth, not what you want to hear — even if the answer is "not yet."
What hosting do I actually need?
Shared hosting, VPS, cloud, managed — the real differences, what your site actually needs, and what's just upsell marketing. I offer hosting myself, which means I also know exactly when you don't need mine.
Competitor analysis & keyword research
Who your online competitors are, what keywords they rank for, what they do well, and where the gaps are that you can exploit. Written report delivered by email.
Is this proposal fair?
Send me the proposal or contract you received — even if it's from a competitor — and I'll tell you if the price is fair, what's missing, and what you should negotiate before signing.
Do I need this feature or is it a fad?
Chatbot, CRM, newsletter, mobile app, client portal, API integration — what's genuinely useful for your business now and what's just a costly trend.
Rebuild or keep my existing site?
Honest audit of your current site: performance, SEO, UX, conversions. Is a full rebuild worth it or can it be saved with targeted improvements? What each option would cost.
Own website vs. Marketplace?
Your own store vs. Amazon/Etsy/eBay — which strategy makes sense for your product, what the real commission costs are, and the risks of platform dependency.
Overall digital strategy
Website, social media, Google Business, SEO, ads — what deserves priority for your business right now and in what order to invest your limited budget.
Security & migration
Site got hacked? Switching hosting providers? Moving from one platform to another? I'll walk you through the right steps and risks to avoid.
Do I need a mobile app?
Realistic analysis of costs ($15K–$80K+), alternatives (PWA, hybrid apps), and whether your business genuinely justifies a native app right now.
AI & automation — real value vs. hype
What AI tools can genuinely benefit your business today, without expensive experiments or getting swept up in trends that won't survive next year.
Launching a business? Avoid the expensive mistakes from day one.
The earliest decisions in a startup — the platform you choose, how you structure your site, your content strategy, your digital business model — are the hardest to reverse later. Benefit from someone who has been on both sides of these decisions for 27 years.
Because I run a web design and hosting business, I can give you real ballpark figures and production-tested platform comparisons — not guesswork. And because my reputation depends on your long-term success, I'll be honest when a competitor's approach suits you better.

How It Works
Send a booking request
Use the contact form to briefly describe what you'd like to discuss and your preferred format: video (Zoom / Google Meet), phone, or in-person in Oradea. I'll reply the same business day.
Pre-session research
After confirmation and payment, I do the necessary research before our meeting: I review your current site, your competitors, any proposals you've received, or other materials you share. You won't be paying for me to catch up during our hour together.
The consulting session
One hour of direct, concrete conversation — no sales pitches, no unnecessary theory. I ask questions, listen, and give you actionable answers grounded in real-world experience. If something I offer is relevant to your situation, I'll mention it clearly and you decide. You're welcome to record the session for reference.
Written follow-up by email
Regardless of session type, you'll receive a written summary with the key recommendations and next steps — something concrete to refer back to, not just a conversation that fades from memory.
Frequently Asked Questions
You run a web design and hosting business. Won't you just push your own services?
That's a fair question and I appreciate you asking it directly. The short answer: I have more to gain from giving you the right advice than from pushing you toward services that aren't a fit. If you leave our session with a clear roadmap — even one that doesn't involve me — you'll refer people to me and come back when you need something I do well. That model has worked for 27 years. I'm also transparent during the session: if something I offer is relevant, I'll say so plainly, and you can take it or leave it.
Can I send you a proposal from another agency to get a second opinion?
Yes, absolutely — including proposals from my direct competitors. Share the proposal or contract you received and during the session I'll tell you whether the price is fair for what's being delivered, what's missing, and what you should push back on before signing. My job is to help you make a good decision, not to win work by default.
I already work with a web developer. Can I still consult?
Yes. I don't interfere with your existing relationships. My role is to help you understand what you're getting, ask the right questions, and make informed decisions. I won't contact your developer, criticize them publicly, or try to take over the project — unless you explicitly ask me to.
Can we work together if I'm based in the US?
Yes. Video sessions (Zoom or Google Meet) and phone consultations work across any time zone. I work with clients in the US and Western Europe regularly and am flexible with scheduling to accommodate different time zones.
Is everything we discuss confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed remains strictly confidential. I don't share information about your business with anyone and won't reference clients in any marketing materials without explicit permission.
What should I prepare before the session?
No special preparation required. If you have relevant documents (proposals you've received, your current site URL, a brief description of what you want to build), send them before the session and I'll review them beforehand. Otherwise, we start from scratch together and structure the conversation as we go.
Facing an important decision?
One hour with someone who has seen everything that can go wrong — and built real things in the process — can save you months of headaches and thousands of dollars.
I respond to booking requests the same business day.
